By supporting these farming efforts the land can be kept profitable for the locals without the need to resort to drastic deforestation or industrialisation.

In the wild, approximately 5% of butterfly eggs will survive to adulthood. Conservation farms achieve up to 95% survival rate.

The farms release approximately 20% of the generation back into the wild, helping to preserve the insects in their natural habitat.

All of my butterflies are ethically sourced from conservation projects around the world and have lived their full life cycle in good, healthy conditions that are closely managed by entomologists who ensure an optimal environment to allow the populations to thrive.
